OK guys,

Genuine question - why did you honestly think that England would do well in the World Cup. Who, apart from ourselves and our football pundits, say we have the best players in the world? Lets face it, when it comes to the transfer windows its nearly all one way traffic this way, very few BRITISH players are snapped up by the big clubs like Barcelona and others.

Do you not think that they are all overpaid and overrated. Lets face it, if most of us had under-performed doing the job we were paid for, we would be out on our ear, but this lot get to go away for luxury holidays, paid for at the fans expense effectively, play like a second rate pub team, and pass the buck to the coach.

There seemed among a lot of them no pride or passion to be playing for their country, to me it seemed an inconvenience, an interuption to their summer break.

Are we guilty as a nation of wearing rose tinted glasses to their actual abilities and talents or are there deeper rooted problems within the whole of the British football system?
